Dr. Haixia Kong joined the Animal Dental Clinical in September 2025 after completing a residency in Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. 

Originally from China, she earned her veterinary degree there before obtaining her veterinary license in the United States.  She practiced small animal medicine and surgery in the Dallas–Fort Worth area of Texas for over a decade prior to beginning her residency training. 

Dr. Kong is passionate about promoting optimal oral health care for veterinary patients, recognizing its importance to their overall quality of life. Her clinical interests include endodontics and maxillofacial surgery.
