Lenna Engel’s interest in veterinary medicine began during high school, when she pursued an internship at a local animal hospital in Brentwood, California. Lenna attended Western Career College in Sacramento, CA where she earned her Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology, and is licensed in the state of California as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has over 16 years of clinical experience. She worked in general practice, and emergency medicine prior to joining Animal Dental Clinic in 2021.  Having always been attracted to veterinary dentistry because she enjoys seeing how much dental health can benefit an animal’s overall health, she has decided to specialize in veterinary dentistry and is currently enrolled in the Academy for Veterinary Dental Technicians.

Lenna spends her free time outdoors as much as possible. She is always looking for a new adventure!  She enjoys spending time with friends, family, mountain biking, hiking, swimming and yoga. She loves her Betta fish and succulent plants.
