About Us

 

 

Steven E. Holmstrom, DVM, Diplomate, American Veterinary Dental College Dr. Holmstrom graduated from the University of Missouri in 1972. He is a Diplomate and Past President of the American Veterinary Dental College, Academy of Veterinary Dentistry and American Veterinary Dental Society. He has authored or edited 5 dental textbooks for veterinarians.  He has taught veterinary dentistry to veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and the public around the world.

 

Cristine Mincheff, DVM Animal Dental Clinic Resident Dr. Mincheff graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She has practiced in the Midwest, Utah and San Jose. She began her residency program in 2005.  She has taught veterinary dentistry to veterinarians and veterinary technicians and staff locally and at the Veterinary Dental Forum, in Minneapolis.

 

Stacey Neubert, Office Manager.  Stacey has worked with Dr. Holmstrom for 15 years and is invaluable in keeping the practice running smoothly.  She coordinates Drs. Holmstrom and Mincheffs’ busy teaching schedules, conferences, daily surgeries and appointments.

Melinda Harris, RVT, Head Technician.  Melinda graduated from Foothill College in 2000, passed her national boards, and was registered in 2000.  She is currently studying for a specialty technician designation in veterinary dentistry.

 

 

 

Lilian Brown, RVT, Technician.  Lilian completed the veterinary technical program at Foothill College, Los Altos Hills, CA, passed her national boards, and became registered in 2005.  She has done extensive volunteer work in avian medicine at the Gabriel Foundation in Colorado. She has worked for the Animal Dental Clinic for 3 years.

 

Lee Figard, RVT, Technician.  Lee has been working in the veterinary field for 27 years and became registered in 1989.  He has worked for the Animal Dental clinic for 4 years.

 

Sandra Wong, RVT, Technician.  Sandra completed the veterinary technical program at Foothill College, Los Altos Hills, CA, passed her national boards, and became registered in 2005.  She has done volunteer work with the marine mammal laboratories and oil spill rescues. She has worked for the Animal Dental Clinic for over 3 years.

 

Tammy Vinay, Head Receptionist.  Tammy is finishing an Associates Degree in Animal Science, minoring in Women’s Studies.  She is beginning the veterinary technical program at Foothills College.  She expects to complete the program and be registered in 2010.
